Music
The Roslyn Middle School music program is designed to strengthen students’ musical understanding, performance skills, and appreciation through a comprehensive and supportive curriculum. Over the course of three years, students build a strong foundation in music theory, technique, and ensemble collaboration that prepares them for more advanced study in high school and beyond. The program fosters connections between performance, history, and composition, helping students see how various elements of music are interrelated. Through participation in band, orchestra, chorus, and general music classes, students develop their skills in both individual practice and group performance, gaining confidence, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
